These interactive images show the CII (ionized carbon) and CO (carbon monoxide molecule) emission of the Cygnus X region around DR21 and W75N. The x- and y- axis are the coordinates in offsets in arcmin, the z-axis is the velocity in km/s). The DR21 and W75N molecular cloud stand out in both tracers as high emission areas while only in the CII plot, the space between the clouds is mostly filled with emission.
