These include bug-fixes and improvements to the model. *** During the workshop *** 1. Increased the duration of the model from 10^6 to 10^8 yrs, since the chemistry was not previously reaching equilibrium. 2. Corrected an error in outputting the emissivities and heating rates to file (wrong units). 3. Adopted Jacques' collisional rates for OI, CI, and CII cooling. *** After the workshop *** 4. Fixed bug in calculating the OI level populations - emissivities and total brightnesses now seem to be correct. 5. Factor of 1/2 due to semi-infinite slab geometry now included in ALL photorates - CI photoionisation rate now appears to be correct. 6. Dust PE heating formula corrected to match Tielens & Hollenbach 1985 - heating rate now seems to be in agreement with the other models. 7. Bakes & Tielens 1994 PAH heating/cooling formula adopted for the purposes of benchmarking (previously using Wolfire et al. 1995). 8. H2 vibrational heating formula (Hollenbach & McKee 1979) updated with correct benchmarking H2 photodissociation rate. I think that's all the significant changes that have been made. I'll let you know if there are any I've forgotten. Best regards, Tom ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Bell Email: tab@star.ucl.ac.uk Dept.
